At The Adventure Gene, our mission is to enable outdoor journeys by sharing hard-fought knowledge and expertise. That’s why we run education-focused guided hiking trips. It’s also why we created our education hub – to share the thoughts, experiences and opinions of professional hikers who live and breathe the outdoors.

We regularly update our education hub with free information and don’t keep anything exclusively for our guided trips.

Bibbulmun Track Two–Person Gear List (3.1kg)

Here is the gear we took on the Bibbulmun as a couple. We discuss what did and didn’t work so well, as well as changes we would make in the future.

Denmark – Albany

Our journey from Denmark to Albany along the Bibbulmun Track led us through rugged trails, peaceful beaches, and breathtaking scenery.

Walpole – Denmark

Our journey from Walpole to Denmark on the Bibbulmun Track took us through towering forests, windswept cliffs, soft dunes, and rugged coastal heath.

Northcliffe – Walpole

Our journey from Northcliffe to Walpole on the Bibbulmun Track plunged us into remote karri forests, wetlands, coastal dunes, dramatic cliffs, and the wild Southern Ocean.

Pemberton – Northcliffe

Our journey from Pemberton to Northcliffe on the Bibbulmun Track led us through majestic karri forests, the Warren River, and serene open flats.
